The project
The store is built around what shoppers in Egypt check before they order: clear prices in Egyptian pounds, offers shown upfront, cash on delivery to every governorate, and easy returns.
What I built
- Product categories: cleansers, moisturisers, serums, sunscreen and masks
- Offers with the old and new price, and a clear out-of-stock state
- Cart and checkout with cash on delivery
- Order tracking, plus shipping, returns and privacy pages
- Arabic and English, right to left in Arabic
- An admin dashboard for products, images, orders and offers
Built with
Next.js with next-intl for the two languages, Prisma and PostgreSQL for the data, Cloudinary for product images, and signed tokens for the admin sign-in. Key journeys are tested end to end with Playwright.
