The project
Pizza Height is a complete ordering platform for a restaurant. It covers what a restaurant needs online: a menu people enjoy browsing, a quick way to order, and a back office the staff can run on a busy evening.
What I built
- A menu in six categories, with dishes, prices and options
- Cart and checkout, with guest accounts and order history
- Live order updates over WebSockets, from the kitchen to the guest
- A staff dashboard with roles for admins, managers and the kitchen
- Locations, FAQ and contact pages
- A secure API: sign-in tokens, rate limiting and documented endpoints
Built with
One monorepo with three apps: the guest site and the staff dashboard in Next.js, and an API in NestJS with Prisma and PostgreSQL. Socket.IO pushes order updates the moment they happen.
